I use ML on teams that are favorites -2.5 and under some times.... If I like a dog (big dog) I may lay a bit on the Ml with my main bet on the points. I hate having the team cover but not win. sometimes there are teams that stick out that ML look great on but it depends on situation. sometimes the best Ml plays are in the nba and nhl....
One angle I have is if you like an underdog of 3 points or less, the value is definitely in the moneyline. Though none qualify in NFL this weekend, I like the Giants and Bengals on moneyline.
